To let or not to let? That is the question

I am somewhat amazed at recent decrees by the Community of Madrid authority and the government of Catalunya who have decided to wage war on the hapless individual who wants to rent out their property to tourists. New rules have been introduced, seriously restricting what are termed “short-term lets” following intense lobbying by the Spanish hotel industry, and it is claimed, following complaints by residents about noisy and unruly tourists renting apartments in city centres.

Total Addiction

I am an olive oil addict, no doubt about it. I much prefer it to butter as a cooking aid (apart for omelettes and scrambled eggs) and when I drizzle top quality extra virgin olive oil on a salad or grilled meat it is a wonderful moment during my day. Owing to my love of this golden liquid, I have learnt quite a bit about it and in particular about the various olive oils produced in Spain, so I thought I would write a little guide for you.
