If you buy a loaf of bread from a baker in a village near the town of Ronda you will pay 117€ a time as he is selling what he calls “the most expensive bread in the word”. The loaves, weighing in at 400 grams, are made from a whole wheat and spelt dough with dehydrated honey. The pricey ingredient however is 250 milligrams of gold dust, valued at 100€. The baker says he has had interest from plenty of Russian, Chinese and Arab customers from the Costa del Sol and a supermarket chain will soon be selling the bread.
